US Internet Acquires Pixi.netFeb 08, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- US Internet, a provider of Internet, hosting and digital phone services, announced it has acquired 3One Media Corp. (Honolulu, Hawaii). Financial terms not disclosed. 3One Media Hawaii, which operates under the brand name Pacific Information Exchange, Inc. has provided internet services since September 1994. These include broadband Internet services, voice over IP telephone services, and internet delivered video, communication and entertainment services. In addition, 3One Media offerings include commercial Broadband over Power Line (BPL) access technology. "We are excited with this opportunity to expand our global footprint in this valuable market," said Joe Caldwell, US Internet vice president of sales and marketing. "Equally important, we understand how deep the roots are of this established company in Hawaii. We are committed to continuing with local tradition and to further strengthen customer loyalty with an expanded service offering of hosting, online backup, and email security solutions." US Internet said that existing customers will not see any change in its current services. US Internet will also continue to operate in the same facility and retain the local employee base.
