United States : EYELOCK enters partnership with STICKY PASSWORD [TendersInfo (India)]

(TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) An iris biometrics company and member of the FIDO Alliance, EyeLock, has announced a partnership with Sticky Password, a company that provides password management software.

The partnership will allow users to have the security assurance of EyeLock's myris device applied to their current online accounts.

Connecting to a computer through USB, the myris biometric device allows Windows 7, Windows 8 and Mac OS device users to authenticate through iris scan.

Now that it's consolidated with Sticky Password s solution, the myris is plugged in, used for enrolling a user and then scans through the browsers on the device for stored login data.

It then generates a secure database that contains sites, usernames and passwords, to be used for account access when a user authenticates with her irises.
