United States : AIR FORCE grants $7.4 million deal to STELLAR SCIENCE [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Stellar Science Ltd. Co. declared that it has been granted a deal by the Air Force for endorsing the research and development into directed energy at Kirtland Air Force Base. The contract is valued at $7.4 million. U.S. Senators Tom Udall and Martin Heinrich and Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham, D-Albuquerque declared the deal. Further, Stellar Science would be endorsing the Air Force Research Laboratory s work at Kirtland into lasers and directed energy to increase computer simulations and virtual testing of Directed Energy Weapon systems, as per the new deal.
