United Kingdom : VODAFONE UK gets ISO 27001 certification [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) On Thursday, Vodafone UK, announced receiving ISO 27001 certification, the international standard for information security management in the UK. The certification has been awarded by LRQA, a member of the Lloyd s Register group and it applies to the delivery of mobile voice and data services across Vodafone s UK network. This certification confirms the company has a robust set of policies and controls, ensuring the secure management of its customer data, and a mature risk assessment process. Vodafone has also emerged as the first telecoms firm in the U.K. to achieve a UK Government Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation.
