United Kingdom : VIRGIN MOBILE expands network to 5000 homes in Teesside region cities [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) By October end, UK mobile operator Virgin Media has decided to expand its network to 5,000 additional homes in the Teesside region cities of Hartlepool, Darlington, Sunderland and Stockton-On-Tees. The service offers peak speeds of 152 Mbps or nearly eight times as fast as the national average. The operator offers services like TiVo, with hundreds of TV channels to include BT Sport and Sky Sports channels, on-demand TV with box sets, movies and music videos, Netflix and YouTube.
