UNIT4 unveils financial performance management suite

Jun 21, 2013 (Datamonitor via COMTEX) -- UNIT4 N.V., a provider of enterprise software applications and related professional services, has unveiled financial performance management suite reportedly designed to enable organizations and those with complex financial reporting structures to meet strategic financial objectives.

According to the company, the launch of UNIT4 Consolidation & Cash version 5 completes a fully integrated end-to-end solution for organizations with the need to manage complex, high volume financial data transactions. It has been developed with a focus on data validation, process control and analysis for better understanding of financial figures and cash flow. The suite covers Financial Performance Reporting; Consolidation and Cash Management, and two-way integration to UNIT4 Agresso and UNIT4 Coda Financials.

Version 5 is a landmark release as it delivers the full capability that organizations require, from operational finance and reporting through to group finance departments, who need to achieve timely financial close and consolidation, manage risk and compliance, monitor progress against objectives and strategy, and make reliable strategic decisions, the company said.

"Consolidation & Cash competes with the largest financial performance management vendor offerings in the market, but without the hefty price tag and with the unique strength of a solution that is designed for high-change enterprises," said Ton Dobbe, VP Product and Product Marketing for UNIT4.

"The tight link from operational and transactional data to high level financial KPIs with full transparency and audit trail is of huge value to finance and treasury chiefs who want to adhere to best practices and deliver a single version of the truth. We are starting to see wider international demand for this solution as companies compete in a challenging business environment and will begin marketing Consolidation & Cash in countries outside Scandinavia where it originated, starting with the UK, Benelux, Asia-Pacific and North America." http://www.datamonitor.com Republication or redistribution, including by framing or similar means, is expressly prohibited without prior written consent.
