[May 19, 2013] Uni cap tipped to slash enrolments Tweet May 19, 2013 (The Australian Financial Review - ABIX via COMTEX) -- The Australian Government announced in April 2013 that it would place a $A2,000 cap on tax deductions for work-related study expenses. The plan has since been widely criticised by various professional groups and universities, and there are indications that Treasurer Wayne Swan might be willing to re-consider the decision, which is due to take effect on 1 July 2014.
