Tyco Electronics signs licensing agreement with ADC for FTTX technology

Oct 30, 2009 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- Tyco Electronics, Ltd. has entered a license agreement with ADC Telecommunications, Inc., a US-based provider of communications network infrastructure solutions and services, for certain ADC patents directed to fiber-to-the-premises (FTTX) technology.



Tyco is a Bermuda-based global provider of engineered electronic components, network solutions, undersea telecommunication systems and wireless systems.

The licensing agreement between Tyco and ADC settles existing litigation between the companies.
