TX Introduces AutoSave CD/DVD Recordable Media Lineup

Jan 06, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) --
TX (Think Xtra) announced the release of its new AutoSave products based on the Soft-R's Self Recordable media technology: TX AutoSave Photos, AutoSave Emails, AutoSave Encrypt, and AutoSave Office.

Users often fail to perform important backups because the software they are forced to use is confusing, making the whole process a hassle. AutoSave greatly simplifies the often-tedious process of backing up files; users never have to install software. Instead they simply insert a TX AutoSave CD-R or DVD+R disc then follow a very small and uncomplicated wizard that prompts them to automatically save their photos, emails, and office documents -- or to backup/store sensitive documents with encryption.

TX AutoSave Photos - 4.7GB DVD+R discs automatically back up all your photos directly from your digital camera, memory card, or computer with just 3 clicks. Photos can be played back on computer or DVD player.

TX AutoSave Emails - 4.7GB DVD+R discs offer a way to permanently backup emails -- along with attachments. You simply insert an AutoSave disc, select the emails, attachments and contacts you want to back up and click on the record button. Emails and attachments are automatically encrypted and recorded to the disc. It's also a great "compliance" solution as the emails & attachments are permanently saved.

TX AutoSave Encrypt - 680MB CD-R disc contains an embedded software program that encrypts your confidential data and records it to the disc on the fly. As with all AutoSave solutions, no installation on your PC is necessary. Just insert an AutoSave Encrypt disc, create a password, select the files/folders to protect, and your data will be encrypted and recorded to the CD on the fly.

TX AutoSave Office - 680MB CD-R disc will automatically backup all your office files (MS Office, PDF, Open Office, Works, etc). You also can add any other type of data or even automatically back up your "My Documents" folder.

TX will be demonstrating all four AutoSave products at its booth during the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
