tw telecom and Arsalon Technologies team to offer carrier-class disaster recovery and data replication servicesSep 13, 2011 (TELECOMWORLDWIRE via COMTEX) -- tw telecom (Nasdaq:TWTC), a provider of managed services, announced on Monday a partnership with Internet infrastructure technology and service provider Arsalon Technologies to offer customers access to carrier-class data storage, disaster recovery and data replication services. This partnership is expected to give customers fast, highly reliable and cost-effective access to Arsalon's hosting facilities. Now, customers can connect to Arsalon's carrier-class hosting facilities through tw telecom's fiber-based nationwide fiber IP backbone. As a part of the multi-year agreement, financial details of which were not available, tw telecom will offer Business Ethernet and Internet connections with burstable capability to connect Arsalon data centers to tw telecom's nationwide fiber infrastructure and IP backbone network with multiple 10 Gbps connectivity.
