Time Warner Cable announces launch of SPEED2 broadband network in USAug 27, 2010 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Cable operator Time Warner Cable (NYSE:TWC) announced on Thursday the upcoming launch of SPEED2, a broadband network featuring live and on-demand streaming motorsports events and enthusiast programming. SPEED2 will be available from Sunday across the US for Time Warner Cable Sports Pass subscribers, at no additional charge. The service allows motorsports fans to view racing content from any Internet-based connection, wired or wireless, at home or on the move.
