TELCOS TOLD TO SPECIFY DOWNLOAD SPEED(Indian Business Insight Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has directed mobile telephone operators to specify minimum download speeds for Internet tariff plans. The regulator has also told the companies that users should get minimum speed at least 80 percent of the time. The TRAI has received complaints from the users about inconsistent speeds. |
