Tektronix Selector Tool Now Available on Newark Website

Jul 03, 2009 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Stating that it is committed to bringing engineers the newest technologies first, multi-channel electronics distributor Newark, part of the Premier Farnell Group, announced it has teamed with Tektronix to offer the company's online probe selector tool on its website, helping engineers to upgrade their Tektronix oscilloscopes with the right probes and accessories for their application.



The company stated that the Tektronix probe & accessory selector tool takes all the guesswork out of the selection process. Results appear as images for the first 15 matches, based on the user's selection such as oscilloscope, bandwidth and type of measurements. All other matches are listed as manufacturer stock numbers. Both images and stock numbers are active links that take a user directly to the part details page.

"In this challenging economic climate, adding upgrades or replacing parts are viable, low-cost ways to maximize the performance of existing oscilloscopes and keep them operating efficiently," said Diane Sweeney, Vice President, Newark.
