Strengthening capacities of communities on both banks of the Nistru river [TendersInfo (India)](TendersInfo (India) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Tenders are invited for Strengthening capacities of communities on both banks of the Nistru river to implement joint development initiatives. OBJECTIVES AND SCOPE OF SERVICE: The SCBM Programme seeks one or a consortium of companies (hereinafter the Service Provider), to help improve the functional capacities of a set of target communities to implement joint confidence-building initiatives benefitting people on both banks of the Nistru river. At the same time, specific attention will be paid to mainstreaming gender and the Human-Rights Based Approach into their activities. This objective should be attained through the organization of a series of thematic trainings that would also serve as platforms for communication and establishment of partnerships between the participants. The activities will focus on developing the capacities of LPAs and community organizations to identify local problems and implement development projects as a means to solve them. This would be achieved through the design and delivery, based on an approved methodology, of a course of 3 training modules to 75 representatives of 30 communities (15 from each bank of the Nistru River). The participants would have their skills formed, during interactive and engaging sessions, enabling them to develop the capacities of their organizations related to community mobilization, strategic planning, project design and fundraising, results-based-management, monitoring and evaluation, volunteering and strengthening cross-river partnerships. The trainings should serve as opportunities to network, exchange best practices and develop new ideas for projects of interest to communities on both banks.
