"China has transformed from a follower of the e-document industry to a player that establishes an industrial system with independent intellectual property of its own. In view of the importance of e-documents in the utilization of electronic resources, the industry will experience faster development this year," said Dong. According to Dong, the combination of e-documents and cloud computing is inevitable, and it is crucial to move early in developing e-documents in the face of cloud computing's rapid growth. "The 'document cloud' is of high strategic importance, and the industry is expected to expand to tens of billions of yuan in size within a few years. The outlook is quite brilliant," said Dong.
