[November 09, 2009] STR expands its board of directors with Scott S Brown and Andrew M Leitch Tweet Nov 09, 2009 (M2 EQUITYBITES via COMTEX) -- Diverse provider of solar encapsulants STR Holdings Inc (NYSE:STRI) disclosed on Friday the appointment of Scott S Brown and Andrew M Leitch as new board members, expanding the company's board to eight independents in compliance with US Securities & Exchange Commission and NYSE listing requirements. Brown will serve on the audit committee of the STR Board. He has been New Energy Capital LLC's CEO of since 2004, was CEO of management and investment consulting firm Sinclair Brown Associates earlier. With over 27 years experience with Deloitte & Touche LLP, Leitch served as vice chairman of the Management Committee in Hong Kong for the company most recently. He further serves as Blackbaud Inc's chairman of the board and as a director and chairman of the audit committee of Aldila Inc and Cardium Therapeutics Inc at present as well.
