Steward Health Care System Selects Kyruus® ProviderMatch™ to Optimize Patient Access and Referral Management

Kyruus, a leading provider of Patient Access and Referral Management Solutions, announced today that Steward Health Care System LLC (Steward) has selected Kyruus ProviderMatch to enable big data to drive patient-provider matching solutions across the Steward Health Care Network of approximately 3,000 primary care physicians and specialists. With the Kyruus technology platform in place, Steward referral specialists and care managers will more quickly, easily and accurately match patients with Steward providers best suited to meet their health care needs. As part of this partnership, Kyruus will also power the system's online physician search tool on Steward.org to help patients identify and easily access Steward physicians in the network.

"As one of New England's leading health systems, we are committed to providing our patients with high-quality cost-effective care in the communities that we serve," said Sanjay Shetty, MD, President of the Steward Health Care Network, a division of Steward. "By working with Kyruus, we will be able to more easily and more accurately identify physicians in our network with specific expertise and offerings that meet the needs of a particular patient. This will improve our overall patient access, care experience and outcomes."

The Kyruus ProviderMatch suite of products uses big data to help health systems identify and appropriately match patients with physicians and other healthcare providers. The configurable ProviderMatch Smart Search engine can be dployed in patient access channels across the entire health system enterprise and allows for dynamic patient-provider matching based on a patient's clinical and convenience-based criteria such as insurance acceptance, location, and availability. The ability to integrate into scheduling and patient registration workflows streamlines referrals at all points of service, while business analytics highlight opportunities for capacity optimization across large provider networks.

"We founded Kyruus with the vision of helping patients get the most appropriate and timely care possible because we believe a better match equals better care," said Dr. Graham Gardner, co-founder and CEO of Kyruus. "We are excited to be collaborating with one of New England's largest and most respected healthcare systems to help them deliver on this same promise."
