SSON Names Awards Finalists for the 2009 Shared Services Excellence Awards

Finalists were announced for SSON's (Shared Services & Outsourcing Network) Shared Services Excellence Awards, taking place March 22-27, at the Omni Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, the organization reported.
Cross-industry shared services leaders will gather together on Tuesday, March 24th to honor shared services organizations that demonstrate winning practices for their own organizations. The award winners will be announced, presented and celebrated at the Black Tie Gala Dinner & Awards ceremony, with emcee Daniel Melchior, Senior Manager at North Highland.
SSON (Shared Services & Outsourcing Network) provides research, training, and networking for over 7,000 shared services executive members from over 50 countries around the world.
Organizations from across the globe sent applications in hopes of winning one of five sought-after titles. The complete list of the 2009 Shared Services Excellence Award Finalists are as follows:

Along with receiving prominent recognition, winners of a Shared Services Excellence Award will be honored as a leading organization in shared services, profiled in the Shared Services & Outsourcing Network magazine and website, as well as be featured in industry and marketing publications.
Established in the late nineties, SSON was set up to enable industry professionals to share information, ideas and best practice solutions for how to improve business processes.
