The ICF-CD3iPSIL model has a clock face with an easy-to-read LCD, an AM/FM radio and a CD player that can play recordable and rewritable CDs. Plus, it has a hidden dock that slides out for charging an Apple iPod or iPhone. You can set the clock to wake you with an alarm, a radio broadcast or a tune on a CD or iPod. The clock radio costs about $100 and ships with a remote control.

Buffalo packs lots of storage into tiny drive

Buffalo Technology packs a lot of storage into an itty-bitty hard drive that weighs 2 ounces and measures just 0.2 inch thick. Dubbed the MiniStation Shinobi, the portable hard drive includes backup and syncing software, mobile access to e-mail and the Web and security software to prevent unauthorized access to data. A 30-gigabyte model costs $120; a 60GB version is $170.
