Some computer equipment stolen from Arlington schools is recovered

More than $5,000 worth of computer equipment stolen in the spring and summer at several campuses in Arlington and Grand Prairie has been recovered, school officials have announced.
The Arlington school district reported 22 burglaries between May 15 and Sept. 15. Sixty laptops, 45 desktop computers, 10 projectors and a camera, with a total value of more than $127,000, were stolen, officials said.
School and police officials are trying to retrieve more equipment from pawnshops and Web sites eBay and Craigslist, said Tiara Richard Ellis, a police spokeswoman.
At least three people have been arrested, she said.
Four projectors, nine computers and a camera have been recovered, officials said.
Jeremy Daniel Marcus, 25, of Arlington, Tristan Jamal Marcus, 20, of Grand Prairie and a juvenile were arrested in September, she said. Tristan Marcus was released from the Tarrant County Jail on $5,000 bail. Jeremy Marcus, who faces unrelated drug and evading-arrest charges, remained jailed Friday night. Bail in the burglary case is $50,000.
Information on the juvenile suspect was unavailable.
Police are seeking additional suspects, Ellis said.
