Social Solutions Congratulates Veronica Awards Recipient Carmen Ramirez

Social Solutions Global, the leading provider of performance management software, congratulates the recipient of the 2014 Veronica Awards, Carmen Ramirez of Congreso. The Superstar Foundation grants the Veronica Awards every December to outstanding direct service workers who demonstrate the use of data to improve relationships at the core of social service work.

Established in 2007 by Steve Butz, the Superstar Foundation's mission is to communicate the importance of "transformational relationships" between direct staff and the participants they serve, as well as distinguish direct service practitioners using data to support outcomes-focused service delivery. In an effort to advocate for a deeper understanding in the social service sector about the importance of performance management, Veronica Awards are presented annually to direct service workers. The Superstar Foundation's Board of Directors advocate bestpractices in performance management in partnership with PerformWell, the Leap of Reason movement, and Social Solutions.

Carmen Ramirez, the sole recipient of the 2014 Veronica Awards, was chosen for her dedication to the people she serves, especially those experiencing domestic violence or lacking basic resources. Her energy and drive come from helping families to not only meet, but excel past their goals and reaching places they never envisioned. Carmen is passionate about families receiving quality, linguistically appropriate services and advocates on an individual level, while being a strong voice for the Latino community and professional community.
