Smith Micro Software Chosen by Clearwire

Smith Micro Software, a developer and marketer of mobility solutions and services for the wireless market, announced that it has been selected by Clearwire to deliver connection management software for its mobile WiMAX customers.

Smith Micro Software designed a connection manager enabling customers to connect to Clear mobile WiMAX service.

In conjunction with the 4G wireless service, Smith Micro has customized the connection manager specifically to Clear's mobile WiMAX requirements. This application features a highly refined user interface emphasizing ease-of-use, reliability and simplicity. The application also supports most major WiMAX devices in the industry today.
