Siteworx Garners Web Design Awards

Oct 07, 2010 (Close-Up Media via COMTEX) -- Siteworx announced that it has received a total of 17 Web design awards since the start of 2010.

According to a release, the awards include Webby Awards, Interactive Media Awards, Communication Arts, WebAwards, and the Summit International Awards.

"As the chief creative officer at Siteworx, it's my role to ensure the highest standards of design and usability in the web and mobile sites and applications we create," said Rand Kramer, vice president of visual design. "I'm always extremely proud of the work our creative team delivers, but these awards serve as further validation of the value and creativity we deliver on behalf of our clients every day." Siteworx was recognized by Communications Arts, the largest international trade journal of visual communications, with a Web Pick of the Day for the Green the Capitol website design on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives.


The Interactive Media Awards Outstanding Achievement in the Newspaper category was received on behalf of the Chronicle of Higher Education for the Chronicle of Philanthropy website design. The Interactive Media Awards also granted Siteworx two Outstanding Achievement awards in the Advocacy category on behalf of the National Fisheries Institute for the AllFish Website and George Mason University for the Go Green with Gunston website. Also, the Interactive Media Awards awarded Siteworx a Best in Class award in the Government category for the Green the Capitol website on behalf of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The Communicator Awards honored Siteworx with two Awards of Excellence in the Charitable Organizations and Associations categories for designs on behalf of America's Promise Alliance and the American Medical Student Association, respectively. Siteworx also received a Communicator Award of Distinction for the Go Green with Gunston website design on behalf of George Mason University.


In the WebAwards competition, Siteworx was honored with the Best Professional Service Website award for its own website redesign which was launched in April 2010. Additional WebAwards Standard of Excellence honors were received in the Environmental and Government categories for website designs on behalf of George Mason University and the U.S. House of Representatives, respectively.

Siteworx was recognized by the Webby Awards with an Official Honoree of Distinction award for its work on behalf of long-time client, the American Diabetes Association on the redesign of diabetes.org. The diabetes.org website was also recognized by the Society of National Association Publications with a Gold Award of General Excellence.
