Shenick Announces New CEO and Expands Executive Team
MILPITAS, Calif. --(Business Wire)--
Shenick
Network Systems, provider of per-flow IP test and measurement
solutions, today announced it has appointed Gerard Moore as Chairman and
CEO, and has expanded its executive team to include Ultan Kelly, CTO;
Frank Bawle, VP of Engineering and Ameet Dhillon, VP of Marketing and
Business Development. Shenick's (News - Alert) Silicon Valley office opens its doors
officially this month in Milpitas, California where it will service the
company's growing TeraVM business. TeraVM is the first fully virtualized
network test and measurement solution that emulates application traffic
flows up to a Terabit/s using industry standard hardware.
Prior to becoming CEO at Shenick, Gerard Moore was founder and CEO of
Spectel, which he grew from 10 to 240 employees, before it was acquired
by Avaya (News - Alert) in 2004. Moore is also Managing Partner of Sanvest Ventures. In
2008, Moore became an investor in Shenick and joined its board of
directors.
