SED International Holdings Appoints Carla Giussani as Vice-President and General Manager of SED Colombia


SED International Holdings, Inc. (OTC: SEDN), a multinational distributor of IT components and services, is pleased to announce that Carla Giussani has been appointed as the Vice-President and General Manager of SED Colombia.

"Several months ago, SED began a process of recruiting a new leader for SED Colombia with the goal of taking an accomplished business like SED Colombia and guiding it to newer and greater opportunities. We found such a leader and much more in Carla," said Sham Gad, Executive Chairman of SED. "Carla's experience, track record, but more importantly, her integrity and reputation as a businesswoman made her an easy and excellent choice during this process. Carla A. Giussani

Ms. Giussani is a senior eecutive with over 20 years´ executive experience in multinational organizations. Prior to joining SED, Ms. Giussani was the Manager for the Colombia and Ecuador Division of Anixter (News - Alert) Colombia, a subsidiary of Anixter International (NYSE: AXE), a $2 billion industrial distribution company. From 2009 to 2013, Ms. Giussani was the General Manager of Intcomex Colombia, one of the leading IT distribution firms in Colombia, where she led the division's growth from $40 million to over $100 million. Prior to that, Ms. Giussani spent 10 years at Brightstar (News - Alert) Corporation, a leading mobile solutions company, where she managed the Company's subsidiaries in Bolivia, Ecuador and Colombia. Ms. Giussani began her career at Citibank. Carla holds a CPA from the Institute of Banking Education and holds an MBA from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
