SCRA Technology Ventures Announces New SC Launch Companies

COLUMBIA, S.C. --(Business Wire)--

SCRA Technology Ventures today announced the acceptance of four new companies into its SC Launch Program. Charleston-area companies InciComm and Infinite (News - Alert) Takes and Upstate-area companies ThoroughCare and Servocity became client companies in October.

InciComm engineers groundbreaking cloud-based incident management technology for the public safety industry. Their solutions allow live, mobile collaboration between multiple users who operate in rugged and chaotic environments. The company is a member of the Charleston Digital Corridor and hopes to grow their Charleston-based business.

Infinite Takes is a forward-thinking, mobile video technology company. Their product, Stre.am, is a social and broadcast network usable by anyone with a mobile device. Stre.am was created to share moments and tell stories globally via live video. Company President, Eric Bowman, also serves as CEO for the leading software development company, SPARC.

ThoroughCare is a healthcare software company that identifies risky and costly patients. Their patent-pending, guided-interview technology allows for efficient patient assessments while providing powerful analysis of the data captured. ThoroughCare helps hospitals, community health groups and insurance companies to identify risk, reduce readmissions and lower costs.

Servosity delivers mission-critical disaster recovery as a service to Managed Service Providers and IT resellers making servers un-crashable, files un-losable and downtime removed. During a disaster recovery situation, the technology allows for streaming of operating systems rather than waiting for information to download. Servosity's operations are located at the NEXT building in Greenville.

Client companies are companies that are accepted into the SC Launch economic development program and will receive mentoring and support services. Companies may be eligible to receive matching funding or larger investment funds.
