SCRA Applied R&D's Alastar Software Takes Home Gold Award


CHARLESTON, S.C. --(Business Wire)--

SCRA Applied R&D today announced that its wide-area situational awareness software, Alastar, received top recognition from the 2014 American Business Awards (ABA). Alastar won a Gold Stevie in the Software Development Solution of the Year category and was recognized at the ABA Tech Awards dinner in San Francisco, C.A. last week. The national award program, "the Stevie Awards," recognizes the achievements and contributions of businesses worldwide.

More than 150 members of several specialized judging committees determined award placements with finalists winning either a gold, silver or bronze Stevie. Earlier this year, SCRA won gold for Non-Profit Company of the Year, gold for SCRA CFO Julia Martin as the Non-Profit Executive of the Year, and a bronze for the SC Launch Annual Report in the Best Annual Report category. Previously, SCRA has received Stevie awards for: Company of the Year- Non-Profit, CEO of the Year- Non-Profit, Best Tech Innovation of the Year, and Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year.
