Sasae, Kim meet again, no breakthrough on resuming 6-way talks+

(Japan Economic Newswire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)TOKYO, April 10_(Kyodo) _ Japanese and North Korean chief delegates to the six-party talks on Pyongyang's nuclear programs met Monday in Tokyo for the second time in three days but failed to make a breakthrough on restarting the stalled multilateral meeting.

Japan's Kenichiro Sasae said after meeting with North Korea's Kim Kye Gwan that they "discussed the issue of restarting the 6-party talks for nearly two hours" and that he expects discussions on the topic to continue in "various forms."

Sasae said he will meet bilaterally with top U.S. negotiator Christopher Hill and have a joint meeting with Hill and South Korean chief delegate Chun Young Woo to discuss the matter.
