[May 08, 2008] Rocksteady Studios selects WS_FTP Server from Ipswitch Tweet (Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Ipswitch Inc, a developer of network monitoring, messaging and secure managed file transfer solutions, announced on Wednesday (7 May) that computer game manufacturer Rocksteady Studios has chosen WS_FTP Server to ensure its files are transferred securely and are guaranteed to reach their destination. Rocksteady Studios reportedly utilises a number of outsource agencies worldwide to assist in the creation of game assets. It required a stable transfer mechanism that could transfer these assets back and fourth between agencies in a secure manner. According to the company, Ipswitch's WS_FTP Server delivers enterprise-level security, granular administrative control over server access and user permissions, event-driven automation, logging capabilities for auditing and compliance, and high performance and reliability. It scales to a virtually unlimited number of user accounts and concurrent user connections and supports FTP, SSL and SSH protocol connections. In addition, it features strong password policies, guaranteed file integrity, clustering and load balancing architecture. No financial details were disclosed.
