Demand for anti-ageing procedures, such as eyelid surgery, browlifts and face/neck lifts, has increased noticeably in recent years. The increase in these types of procedures is a result of the UK's ageing population and a growing number of women wanting to improve their appearance and stop the signs of ageing through surgery. Interest in non-surgical procedures continues to grow as an increasing number of women want to stop the signs of ageing without surgery and with minimal recovery time. Anti-ageing treatments, such as dermal fillers, Botox and chemical facial peels are the most popular among non-surgical procedures. This report projects the UK cosmetic surgery market to grow by 6% and 5.8% in 2014 and 2015, respectively.
