REALSEC's new technical director, Sergio Soler, has more than 15 years of experience in innovation and development of cryptographic hardware and software products designed for encryption and digital signature. An industrial engineer, he began his professional career in 1998 working at Penta3 in the financial cryptography field, an area in which he has extensive and proven experience. He would continue these functions at NetFinger until 2001 when he joined the technical department at REALSEC as product manager for solutions targeted toward banking and payment method institutions. In his new career as technical director, Soler will coordinate SW, HW and RDI development; as well as the area of consulting. He will offer a new technological approach to the company through the incorporation of new work areas with the aim of developing the best cryptographic solutions that align with market demand. Luis Hernandez Furquet will occupy the new post as director of RDI where he will be in charge of the areas of research and development of software and technical support. Furquet has more than 16 years of experience in corporate, technical and operational management which he has gained through his experience in national and multinational companies in the field of information technology and telecommunications. His fundamental objective at this new stage will be to boost the area of software research and development, enabling a robust and constant evolution of REALSEC products, as well as change the internal processes while offering continuous improvement. As a telecommunications and computer science engineer, he holds the main certifications related to security matters (Title of director of security by ICADE, CISA, CISM, CHS, ISO 27000, MCSA), as well as extensive experience in project management. Before joining REALSEC, Luis Hernández Furquet developed his professional career in the field of systems and information security in entities such as CIDITES (RDI center in security technologies), Security Cluster, SanDisk, and Spanish Microelectronics; acquiring solid experience in leading technical teams within fields such as information security, technical audit, certification, standardization, research and software development, quality, management and implementation of strategic projects, and corporate security management.
