Rap Riderz Innovation Centre brings Robots, 3D Printing, and Virtual Reality to Aurora, Ontario

AURORA, ON, Nov. 24, 2017 /CNW/ - On November 25th, between 1:00 – 6:00pm Rap Riderz Innovation Centre officially opens for business in Aurora, Ontario. This cutting edge think-tank is focused on engaging kids and adults for the purpose of tapping into their creativity, showcasing artistry and innovating to produce new products and solutions for the future.

At Rap Riderz Innovation Centre, people will experience new technologies like 3D Printing, Virtual Reality, and life-sized Service Robots. The crown jewels of the Innovation Centre ar monthly Rap Sessions. Small groups of people can join workshops, seminars and hands-on training sessions in areas such as Software Development (Coding), Electric Cars, Gaming App Development, Design Thinking, 3D Printing etc… Community members are also encouraged to celebrate their special occasions through private event bookings for birthday parties, strategy sessions and team building.

When asked to explain the meaning of Rap Riderz, Chief Technology Officer, Ian McGowan explains that "a rap is what occurs when one strikes a surface with an audible blow to attract attention. Riderz are people focused on progressing and transforming at great speed." 

McGowan's vision for Rap Riderz Innovation Centre is to build an incubator for progressive people (of all ages) that wish to make an impact on society by bringing their new ideas, methods and products to life.

The Rap Riderz Innovation Centre will also retail products at its onsite emporium and McGowan encourages residents to check out their vast inventory of ride-on cars, personal and commercial service robots, and exclusive Street Wear designs like Aurora's own Rogue Outsider by Marcus X.

Come explore the 4D Virtual Reality amusement experience and learn more about the role of technology in our everyday lives. Meet Lolita, Sanbot Elf and many more Robots and open your eyes to the wonders of Artificial Intelligence. Visitors can also discover what it takes to develop software applications and build fully functional electric cars and motorcycles.
