Raketu Introduces VideoCalling

(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Raketu, an Internet communications, information, entertainment, and
social networking company, has released its cross platform VideoCalling.

Raketu said the new service allows anyone with a Mac, Windows or Linux
computer to make free two-way video calls, one-way video calls, two-way
voice calls and instant message, all from any browser without a
download.

According to the company, the new service is also integrated with
Raketu's new version 3.0 download client. Raketu said that users will
now be able to make free videocalls, voicecalls and instant message
with their friends, family and business colleagues across any platform.
The new VideoCalling is in addition to the existing communications,
information, entertainment and social networking features where users
can make international calls computer-to-computer, computer-to-phone
and phone-to-phone, send sms-text messages, instant message, and email
free or at Raketu's ultra-low rates -- all from any device, anywhere in
the world, mobile or desktop/laptop.

"Raketu's VideoCalling release will allow all our users to make video
and voice calls between computers no matter what operating system they

are running," said Greg Parker, president and CEO of Raketu. "If you
are running a Mac with a webcam and your friend is on Windows with only
a headset, you can make one-way video calls to one another. If both
have webcams, you can make two-way video calls. If neither have
webcams, you can still make two-way VoIP calls to one another. Our new
VideoCalling in combination with our existing services makes the cost
of making and receiving video/phone calls affordable no matter where
our users are."
