Quintum VoIP Gateway
(CommwebNews.com Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) Eatontown, New Jersey-based Quintum Technologies, a company specializing in VoIP connectivity, has released their new Tenor AF switch, designed for eight analog lines in both station side and trunk side configurations. The switch will support eight simultaneous VoIP calls.
Quintim says the new Tenor AF has a smaller footprint than the current Tenor AS or Tenor AX, but it offers twice the capacity.
The Tenor AF includes Quintums newest feature set of configuration and management tools, including the Tenor Configuration Manager (GUI) and Wizard, and the Tenor Monitor that offers real-time monitoring of alarms, call status and Call Detail Records. Tenor can easily be remotely managed behind NAT firewalls utilizing the new Tenor Remote Management Session Server, the company says.
According to Quintim, while other standard VoIP gateways simply provide circuit to packet connectivity, the Quintum Tenor provides intelligent connectivity between analog devices, the PSTN and IP devices.
