Prominent Trusts & Estates Attorney Catherine Grevers Schmidt Joins Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP

Schulte Roth & Zabel LLP ("SRZ") today announced the addition of Catherine Grevers Schmidt as a partner in the Individual Client Services Group. Resident in the firm's New York office, Ms. Grevers Schmidt will focus her practice on estate planning and administration, trusts, charitable foundations and tax advice. She joins the firm from Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP, where she served as chair of the Trusts and Estates Group.

"Cathy's expertise and knowledge of complex estate planning and extensive experience administering large estates will be a great asset to our practice," commented William D. Since the firm's formation in 1969, Mr. Zabel has represented many of the nation's most influential individuals and their families in matters pertaining to estate planning, wills, trusts, charitable foundations, income and gift tax planning, estate administration and family law.
