Plastic Electronics Pioneer and eReader Developer Plastic Logic Featured at IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA 2008SAN JOSE, Calif. --(Business Wire)-- Plastic Logic will deliver a keynote address and Masterclass session at the IDTechEx 2008 Printed Electronics USA industry conference being held here at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center Dec. 2-5. During its presentations, Plastic Logic executives will showcase their forthcoming eReader product, based on the Company's revolutionary plastic electronics technology. The sessions promise to provide a look at how plastic electronics technology is perfectly placed to disintermediate new media and other technologies. The IDTechEx Printed Electronics USA event is focused on printed electronics and the new emerging products and routes to market . Canova will present during the IDTechEx Masterclass 3: Introduction to Printed Electronics - Displays session to be held today from 2-5 p.m. PST. During the session, veteran technologist Canova will discuss the creation of the Plastic Logic eReader from initial concepts in the Plastic Logic Cambridge UK Lab through building Plastic Logic's new Dresden, Germany factory, the world's first plastic electronics manufacturing facility, toward commercialization of the product. Eschbach will discuss the opportunities and trends in for plastic electronics displays - starting with the electronic reader category and how plastic electronics technology can ultimately disintermediate existing silicon-based semiconductor process with a range of new products at substantially lower costs.
