PilotFish Announces RESTful-Based, Real-Time Operational Interface Reporting & Management Dashboard

(PR Web Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Tampa, FL (PRWEB) September 30, 2014 Applied PilotFish Healthcare Integration, Inc. (APHII) the Healthcare subsidiary of PilotFish Technology, a leading provider of middleware solutions, announced today that it is releasing a next-generation operational reporting Dashboard. The eiDashboard is an add-on component to the PilotFish healthcare integration engine.

PilotFish has taken a radical new approach in designing its operational reporting eiDashboard. PilotFish converts all structured or semi-structured data to XML, while other systems commonly use relational databases that force the user to predefine business data to store in searchable columns. The PilotFish solution allows users to leverage XML database technology to store every piece of information in formats that can be readily queried. Users gain the ability to securely search, report, and review any piece of data, from any message, at any time and in real-time.

The PilotFish eiDashboard then provides a multi-dimensional view of interface activity, while other systems can provide only basic web-based log and status views. Capabilities from high-level message orchestrations to discrete operations are made available at every level of abstraction.

"Our new eiDashboard release offers business users incredible operational insight. By leveraging XML as the underlying technology, users benefit with amazingly flexible ad-hoc reporting and analytics on data flowing, in real-time through the system," said Neil Schappert, CEO of Applied PilotFish Healthcare Integration. "Business users can now retroactively analyze data elements without having to proactively configure these for reporting. It provides them with an unparalleled view of their systems interoperability topology." PilotFish's eiDashboard utilizes a RESTful-based API for all operational reporting and control capabilities. Other systems restrict such access through a proprietary user interface which makes bundling these systems with other software, equipment, or services much more difficult due to an inconsistent user experience. "PilotFish's eiDashboard REST-based API now makes it possible for solution providers to integrate our eiDashboard features right within their own applications," said Schappert. "It truly provides a very powerful value-add." The operational insight delivered by the eiDashboard delivers faster issue resolution and reduced down time. Developers gain access to fix issues on the fly. Business users are provided with the kind of operational detail that enables them to troubleshoot and resolve issues at a greater speed and far more efficiently than was previously possible.
