The companies stated that IBT's Remote Deposit Capture application and Pertech's 6100 family of check scanning products form a partnership enabling efficient and accurate processing of check deposits. Furthermore, potential fraud is reduced by the increased speed in processing the checks and back office personnel needs are reduced due to the virtual elimination of encoding read failures.
