[June 30, 2010] Pantech Jest available on Verizon Wireless network Tweet (Telecomworldwire Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) US mobile network operator Verizon Wireless and handset manufacturer Pantech yesterday announced the availability of the Pantech Jest feature phone by Person Communications Devices LLC on the Verizon Wireless network. The companies said that the slider phone has a 2 megapixel camera and an optical directional key with swipe motion technology. It comes pre-loaded with Social Beat, an application offering direct connection to Facebook, MySpace and Twitter, together with the VZ Navigator for detailed maps and turn by turn directions. The Jest is available online at http://www.verizonwireless.com today for free through a special online promotion. It will be in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores beginning 5 July for USD69.99 after a USD50 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.
