[October 06, 2008] Panasonic to Showcase IP Solutions at BroadSoft Connections Tweet (Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Panasonic, a company in the U.S. telephony market for systems under 60 extensions, will be showcasing its portfolio of IP solutions at BroadSoft Connections 2008: Xtend, the sixth annual Executive Users Conference. The applications, along with many other communication solutions, will be demonstrated by Panasonic at booth number 44 in the Westin Kierland Resort, Scottsdale, Arizona, from October 5-8. Panasonic markets a range of applications including: telephony, call center, collaboration and monitoring capabilities, as well as networked solutions for multi-location businesses and remote workers. Panasonic's offerings encompass several lines of phone systems with IP capabilities and support a variety of endpoints including analog, digital, Media Gateway Control Protocol (MGCP) and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP). Currently testing SIP trunking interoperability with the service provider community, Panasonic has either completed or is in the final stages of certification with several providers. Additionally, later this year Panasonic plans to round out its SIP portfolio with the debut of the first Panasonic branded SIP phone.
