Panasonic Commits to Long Term Support of Olympics
Dubai, July 9, 2008 � Panasonic (News - Alert) Marketing Middle East is preparing for continued support of the Olympics, after the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and Panasonic extended their sponsorship agreement through to the summer games of 2016.
Under the new agreement, Panasonic, who have been in partnership with the IOC since 1985, will continue to be the official Worldwide Olympic Partner in the Audio and Video Equipment product category, and will have global marketing rights for the Beijing 2008, Vancouver 2010, London 2012, Sochi 2014 and the 2016 Olympic Games, as well as for the 205 individual National Olympic Committees and their Olympic teams.
IOC President Jacques Rogge welcomed Panasonic�s continued commitment to the Olympic Movement saying they were grateful to Panasonic for its long-term partnership with the Olympic Movement.
