Osaka business lobby to set up website on drug development+
(Japan Economic Newswire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)OSAKA, April 14_(Kyodo) _ The Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry said Friday it will set up a website in October that will enhance effective development of new drugs among pharmaceutical companies, universities and research bodies.
The website will include information on selling and purchasing substances for developing new medicines and on generic technologies, the business lobby said.
The annual subscription fee will be 800,000 yen for major companies and 300,000 yen for universities, research institutions, and small and medium-sized firms.
It will be jointly run by business and academic sectors, including the Osaka Institute of Technology and trading house Sojitz Corp., it said.
