Oregan Expands its Footprint in the Japanese Consumer Electronics Segment


LONDON --(Business Wire)-- March 13, 2006 -- Reinforcing its leadership in enabling advanced broadband-connected CE products, Oregan Networks, a provider of embedded software solutions, discloses that it will supply its Oregan Media Browser to a tier-one Japanese consumer electronics brand vendor.



Devices powered by Oregan's software will enable a new generation of network-connected products to support the emerging CEA-2014 standard and Macromedia(R) Flash(R) content.

Oregan expects a series of high volume products to be introduced throughout the course of the year, delivering high definition Telco TV and web based portal and video services to Japanese consumer homes.
