Oracle Global Vice President Joined in Alibaba(Sinocast Internet, Media & Online Services Beat (China) Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) BEIJING, July 30, SinoCast -- Yu Sicheng, global vice president and technical manager for Greater China at Oracle, was confirmed to join in Alibaba. Yu Sicheng was disclosed to enter Alibaba Cloud Computing to act as the general manager of cloud technology business as well as vice president of Alibaba Group. Liu Song, the current general manager of financial business of Alibaba Cloud Computing, is also from Oracle. Yu Sicheng served the US basic application software company BEA at earliest and was recalled to China in 2001. Oracle in June 2008 acquired BEA and Yu Sicheng followed the company to join in Oracle to be responsible for managing the before-sale technical team. |
