OPNET Technologies acquires Clarus SystemsJun 01, 2012 (Datamonitor Financial Deals Tracker via COMTEX) -- OPNET Technologies, Inc., a provider of solutions for application and network performance management, has acquired Clarus Systems, Inc., a provider of Voice over IP (VoIP) management software and services. Both the companies are based in the US. Earlier, Clarus secured venture funding from Trident Capital, Mobius Venture Capital, Inc. and Trinity Ventures. The acquisition is expected to be dilutive on a GAAP basis and slightly accretive on a non-GAAP basis for the first quarter of 2013 ended June 30, 2012, and slightly accretive on a GAAP and a non-GAAP basis for the fiscal year 2013 ending March 31, 2013.
