[September 05, 2008] Opera Software ASA extends agreement with existing customer Tweet (Nordic Business Report Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Norwegian Internet browsers developer Opera Software ASA (OSE: OPERA) said on Friday (5 September) that it has signed a multi-year extension agreement with an existing operator customer. The contract extension enables the operator to install Opera Software's mobile web browser on its new handsets. No additional details were disclosed. Opera Software, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, develops the cross-platform Opera web browser for PCs, mobile phones and other networked devices. The company has some 460 employees and reported revenue of NOK315.5m in 2007. One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 9.78 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
