Open Solutions Partners with ContentFast
(Wireless News Via Acquire Media NewsEdge)
Open Solutions and ContentFast, LLC announced a partnership that gives
Open Solutions' credit union and banking clients access to e-mail
archiving and surveillance in a hosted environment, also known as
Software as a Service (SaaS).
Open Solutions is a provider of integrated enabling technologies for
financial services providers in the United States, Canada and other
international markets. ContentFast is a provider of turn-key, packaged
archiving and surveillance solutions to businesses across the United
States.
E-mail compliance has become a central topic because of the increasing
number of regulations requiring e-mail to be archived, including the
recent addition to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure requiring
companies involved in lawsuits to provide e-mail records in a complete
and unaltered format during the pre-trial discovery process.
ContentFast's MessageWatcher e-mail compliance solution provides
financial institutions access to e-mail archives via an intuitive
online application. Financial institutions can also import existing
e-mail archives, e-mail accounts and/or e-mail backup files into
MessageWatcher. MessageWatcher works with Microsoft Exchange, Novell
Groupwise, Lotus Notes and any Linux-based system.
"Financial institutions are expected to comply with the Federal Rules
of Civil Procedure, Gramm-Leach-Bliley, Anti-Money Laundering
regulations, as well as protect their employees and customers or
members from security breaches and harassment. By archiving and
monitoring e-mail, financial institutions can comply with those rules
and regulations. Clients can easily establish policies that can then be
applied to any or all groups of employees. These policies will alert
the financial institutions compliance staff when violations occur.
MessageWatcher comes with 18 pre-populated policies, including 'Theft
Prevention', 'Harassment Prevention', 'GLBA Compliance' as well as the
OFAC list," said Craig Dinan, VP, business development at ContentFast.
