London, 20 February 2007

OnRelay, a pioneer in Fixed Mobile Integration, and Westcon Group, Inc., a global specialty distributor of networking and communications systems, have joined forces to deliver a new generation of Fixed Mobile Integration to the enterprise market.

OnRelay will deliver to Westcon its software (MBX) licenses. Westcon is creating a well-rounded and best of breed package of mobile enterprise software products. Westcon will deliver this package, as well as its services, to its distributor partners.

Both OnRelay and Westcon support and deliver their products on a wide range of TDM and IP PBXs.

"This agreement enhances Westcon's Mobilised Business Communication Solutions and delivers support for a range of IP telephony switches,” comments Bernie Dodwell, Security & Mobility Solutions Manager of Westcon. “OnRelay is already a market leader in this sector and the MBX solution, in combination with Nokia (News - Alert) Eseries mobile devices, bringing the benefits of IP telephony to mobile devices, delivering the same control, management and feature set as customers currently have with their deskphones also on their mobiles. This partnership with OnRelay is a key component in our Unified Communications strategy."

"It is the aggressive companies like Westcon that will undoubtedly be the winners in this new and exciting market," says Marie Wold, President of OnRelay. "While others are sitting beside the pool watching the others jump in, Westcon is already swimming. Westcon has a focused and targeted approach to delivering real value into its customer base and we think their approach of packaging these solutions will help move the market forward.”

MBX is a client-server software system that tightly integrates mobile phones to the office phone system (PBX), turning the mobile phone into a seamless mobile office extension. MBX uniquely works over any mobile network and is fully functional while roaming. MBX is capable of integrating to all major PBXs and is currently compatible with the market leading TDM and IP PBXs.
