Montreal, QC, January 23, 2007 - OCTASIC Inc., the leading provider of innovative voice processing solutions for TDM and IP networks, today announced that it has created a new subsidiary, OctWare Inc. The company provides software solutions for VoIP end-user communication equipment.

Optimized for Asterisk (News - Alert)® based IP PBX, softphones, IP & speaker phones, and hand-held devices, OctWare’s voice processing solutions, which include echo cancellation, enable manufacturers to deliver industry-leading sound quality. OctWare’s first product, SoftEcho is currently being shipped.
