Oceans Healthcare Names Stuart Archer CEO [Global Data Point]


(Global Data Point Via Acquire Media NewsEdge) Archer, who has extensive experience in the management of multi-state and multi-site healthcare operations will lead all facets of the nationally recognized behavioral health provider, which includes 14 inpatient behavioral healthcare facilities and eight intensive outpatient programs in Louisiana and Texas. He will assume his new role officially in November, succeeding current Oceans CEO and co-founder, Jason Reed, who will remain a member of the Oceans board of directors.

In that role, he has led all aspects of the Plano, Texas-based company's day-to-day operations. Prior to joining LifeCare, Archer served as a senior vice president for LHC Group, a leading national provider of post-acute care services with 350 locations across 29 states. He holds a bachelor's degree in human physiology from Louisiana's Northwestern State University and a master's degree in business administration from Louisiana State University.
